Fuller’s routine before this shift was dramatically different. Her calorie intake fluctuated between 5,000 to 6,000 calories daily, often accompanied by more than five cocktails each evening. Under the guidance of her trainer, Konstantinos Koniaris, Fuller initially adopted a regimen that included two weight training sessions weekly and walking 10,000 steps each day. Gradually, her routine evolved; she added another weight training session and increased her daily steps to between 15,000 and 20,000 while incorporating interval training on a stationary bike. These shifts helped her significantly reduce her caloric intake, initially starting at 1,790 calories and adjusting down to around 1,940 as she focused on building muscle.

Fuller noted that while she approached the program with skepticism—expecting failure—she surprised herself by persevering. “I fully expected to fail at this,” she said, explaining her decision to keep her efforts under wraps from most people to avoid the pressure of expectation. Yet, just one year later, she reached a weight of 143 pounds and a size 4 clothing.

Although discontinuing medication should generally be approached with caution, she decided to embrace the opportunity. “I didn’t make a proactive choice to stop Prozac because I was starting the program, but it worked out that way by accident,” she explained.
Surprisingly, as Fuller progressed in her fitness journey, not only did she not need the medication, but she also found herself experiencing significantly reduced anxiety levels. “I used to take hours to fall asleep because of my anxiety. Now, I fall asleep almost immediately,” she revealed. The change was overwhelmingly positive; panic attacks that once plagued her life ceased both day and night.

While she initially set out to regain control over her physical health, the unexpected improvements in her mental state became the most rewarding aspect of her journey. “I never expected this outcome. It wasn’t something I ‘hoped’ for because I honestly didn’t think it was a possibility. This has truly given me a second chance at life,” she expressed.

Fuller rarely indulges in alcohol any longer and instead focuses on nourishing herself with wholesome foods—primarily meat, vegetables, Greek yogurt, and nuts.
