Over the past year, UAB St. Vincent’s has experienced noteworthy growth across key service areas. Hospital discharges have risen by 6%, with increases in surgical volumes, obstetric deliveries, and emergency visits also noted. “We’re treating more patients across UAB Medicine than ever before,” Bulgarella states, reinforcing the operational goals of enhancing patient access, investing in personnel and facilities, and improving care within local communities.
Since the acquisition, UAB Medicine has made significant investments in technology, facility upgrades, and infrastructure improvements across St. Vincent’s campuses.
