BRACEVILLE — Jeffrey Robert Barker, recognized affectionately as Jeff to his family and friends, handed away peacefully, Monday, Aug. 18, 2025, on the age of 73, in Youngstown, surrounded by the love of his household.
Born Oct. 22, 1951, in Warren, Jeff was a faithful son to his late dad and mom, Betty J. and Robert W. Barker. His legacy of affection and kindness is a testomony to a life well-lived and well-loved.
Jeff is survived by his cherished spouse of over 52 years, Wilma L. Shaver Barker, with whom he shared a lifetime of recollections since their marriage on March 15, 1973. Collectively, they constructed a household based on the ideas of affection, assist and integrity. He was a proud father to his son, Thomas R. Barker, and his daughter, Michelle M. Barker, who each inherited their father’s energy and compassion. Jeff’s heat and knowledge will endlessly be remembered by his granddaughter, Victoria A. Springer (Roger), and his adoring great-granddaughters, Noelle, Nataline and Nichole. His sister, Kathleen A. Buranich, and brother, Terry J. Barker, will miss his steering and the laughter they shared.
A 1970 graduate of Braceville Excessive College, Jeff was a person of nice intelligence and work ethic. He devoted over 30 years of service to Denman Tire, the place he was not solely a revered worker but in addition a buddy to many.
