Nevertheless, governance frameworks must leverage the groundwork already laid, particularly in areas like privacy and cybersecurity. Adopting existing legal structures, advisory norms, and accountability measures is vital to effectively managing AI’s risks and ensuring that these technologies benefit rather than destabilize societies.
