Murray State’s journey to Omaha has been nothing short of magical. Entering the postseason as a No. 4 seed in the regional tournament, they became just the fourth team in history to make it to Omaha under such circumstances since the field expanded in 1999. For context, this achievement can be likened to a 13-to-16-seed team reaching the Elite Eight in NCAA basketball, showcasing the rarity and significance of their accomplishment.
